I ordered just a cheese-steak sandwich last night with everything on it. It came very fast. When I got it, it was a mix-up, a plain cheese-steak with just mushrooms. That is fine, mistakes happen, especially on a Friday night when I am sure they are slammed. I called just to let them know and they sent the right one out to my door in 15/20 minutes and let me keep the old one. Great business practice. Good food In the past I have had the Waffle Fries and onion rings. Just fantastic.

Food is good, delivery and service is HORRIBLE. It took 90 minutes for me to receive my lunch, and the guy answering the phones is programmed to say "it should be there any minute" with no apology or appreciation whatsoever for the customer's schedule or workday meetings. Horrible.

Delightful cheesesteaks. We typically order pickup so can't comment on delivery speed. Really, really good. Always double the meat- worth it because you WILL have enough for leftovers.

They charged 50 cents for two paper thin slices of tomato and 25 cents for a sprinkle of shredded lettuce. I couldn't even find the hot peppers, which they charged another 50 cents for. If you're going to charge $9 for a sandwich, at least have the decency to be generous with the toppings. Never again.

Just tried to order food from here last night. They claimed they had tried to deliver our food twice, which is simply not true because we have a doorman and were never buzzed. Regardless of any attempts of delivery, we should have been refunded our money. Instead, the disgruntled employees verbally threatened us that we should come down there ourselves if we wanted to do something. This is absolutely unacceptable behavior from a business, there was no need for verbal threats from a business that has access to our addresses. So customers - beware when ordering!

Advertised delivery is 35-50 minutes. After 75 minutes, I called them, and they hadn't even sent out the order yet. I got my order 10 minutes after the call, but what if I hadn't called?

Great veggie cheesesteaks! One time they accidentally gave me Diet Coke instead of Coke; I called, and they re-delivered a Coke and threw in a dessert too. The customer service was appreciated. :)

Waited over an hour for my food. Had to call twice, the 2nd time, they acknowledged and error and said the delivery man must have given my order to the wrong person. Total time between order and delivery: 90 minutes. To compensate, I was 1). Put on Hold, 2). Offered a quick "sorry" and that was that. Signed, An ex-99 Miles to Philly Customer.

I got a call from an office building a couple of blocks that my food was delivered there, so I called 99 Miles to figure out what happened. The man who answered the phone kept insisting I put my address down incorrectly (without even looking at my order) and that I had to go get my food. Considering I'd ordered from Seamless countless times before and have never changed my address I knew this wasn't my mistake. It's raining, it's cold, I'm 8 months pregnant. Just get me my food. After the delivery guy finally came I called 99 Miles back and told him I didn't appreciate how he'd spoken to me, especially when I was clearly right. The man on the phone kept insisting I put my address down wrong and it wasn't his fault. Um, how did my food get to me, without me ever having talked to the delivery man if that was the case??? Also, the delivery guy wouldn't come into the building lobby so I had to take my pregnant self outside into the freezing cold without a coat. Thanks a lot. Last time I get a dried up cheese steak from 99 Miles.

This has long been a favorite of mine and the sole reason why I use seamless. As they don't accept credit cards! Better cheesesteaks than in Philly! Prices are high but it's fast, fresh and always good.

I was totally happy with this place! They said 35-50 min and it came in 40. It was piping hot, made just like I ordered it, and not soggy at all. The veggie sandwich has peppers, mushrooms, and squash. Nothing to go out of your way for -- just honest cheap food -- but I would definitely order again if I had another mad craving for a cheese steak.

The order was wrong, the meat in the sandwich was minced and terrible. The fries were soggy. Don't order from here. The delivery person didn't know a word of english. He didn't even understand gestures. He delivered to the wrong place and when I found him, nothing could convince him to give me the order. He made call after call and couldn't respond to me other than grunt. I had to take the receipt from his hand finally, sign it, and take the food from his hand.

The food here is fine - when one can actually get it - and the order is correct. This place has too many issues with customer service! My order before last arrived wrong, with one item missing and another one substituted - even though I wasn't told they were out when I placed the order. My last order never arrived due to a mix up with access to a security door - but yet, I was still charged, even though I called the restaurant back ASAP, but they didn't pick up on their end, and then they closed. Tonight was even worse. I just called to place an order, and before I could say anything - the person who answered the phone said, I am really sorry, but we are swamped, and the only way we are taking orders is via computer. When I said that was not an option for me tonight, and just wanted to place the order over the phone - the response was that it would just take too long. When I asked how long? He said over an hour and a half. I don't get it. Just because I call to place an order, I have to wait longer than if I placed the order online, which I can't do tonight? Obviously, I did not place the order - they obviously are not afraid of treating their customers poorly and with little respect.

I ordered my dinner around 7:30p and was given a 35-50 minute delivery window. When my food hadn't arrived in that timeframe, I called the restaurant. It turned out there was an issue with seamless and the restaurant never received my order. Bummer. Seamless credited my account, my order was canceled and I thought that was that. But no! The incredible man who answered my call at 99 Miles to Philly went out of his way to call me back and send me my order on the house. My food arrived in no time at all and was outstanding. Incredibly delicious! Chicken cheesesteak with onions and American cheese. YUM! The waffle fries were crispy and hot. I loved my meal. There was even a little surprise dessert thrown in my bag. I will definitely be ordering again. Phenomenal customer service.

The onion rings are so good and crunchy that the cops came to my apt due to a noise complaint. Get the waffle chilicheese fries and some butterscotch krimpets. Oh and the cheesesteaks satisfy the itch.

I ordered wanting a hot sandwich like shown in the picture. The onion rings war good but the sandwich had soggy bread and was much smaller than expected, after waiting for so long the sandwich was cold and the chicken tasted bad. Unfortunately will never order from them again.

Amazing cheesesteak. Order one with double provolone and sweet peppers. The onion rings are perfect as well. Good greasy stuff. They lose 1 star because I ALWAYS ask for the cheese to be underneath the meat so it doesn't stick to the paper. They never listen.

We've order from them several times & it seems that they keep pushing that 50mins delivery to over an hour. Not sure why this is happening more often. The Cheesesteaks are always good, but maybe it's better to go and order it as take out instead of delivery!

Excellent food. I have only tried the steak Philly but any way I order it, it is always delicious. Delivery time is usually pretty accurate (I have only waited longer than the estimated time once on about 3-4 orders). Only possible drawback is the fries are not very crisp, but fries do not travel well.

Order from this place at 1215 pm on a Thursday afternoon (weather was a non-issue). The estimated delivery time was 35-50 minutes. After the first hour and 10 minutes passed I called to check on the progress. I was told it had already left for delivery. I waited another 40 minutes for my food to finally arrive and when it did it was ICE COLD. I called the store back to ask what they intended to do and he offered a store credit or to make the order again. DO NOT order from here if you are really hungry or at least expect hot food upon delivery.

I ordered a simple chicken cheesesteak and fries. The estimated time was 35-50 minutes. I received my confirmation email about an hour after my order was placed. After waiting another hour, I called the store. They tried to tell me they had delivered my food. After telling them repeatedly that they didn't, they told me they were having problems with their system all day and my food would be delivered. I received it about 30 minutes later for a total of 2.5 hours of wait time.

Let me put it this way, it's WORTH driving 99 miles to Philly (preferably to Tony Luke's or Di Nic's) to get the real thing because these sandwiches filled a hunger but not a craving, totally forgettable. When it comes to the iconic sandwich, it HAS to be very good at least and these were barely fair.

a very sloppy(in a good way) and stuffed up philly cheesesteak. the price is pretty reasonable but possibly a bit pricy. The meal definitely gives off the aura of deliciousness that one would expect from philly cheesesteaks in general. Definitely recommend a try when your in the mood for some junk food but would not go out of my way to eat here

I was craving a Philly Cheesesteak and decided to order from here. The food was really good even after being delivered it remained greasy and delicious. Definitely get cheese and onions on your cheesesteak and make sure to ask for extra ketchup! I got onion rings and they were really good. They had the perfect amount of crisp and onion to them.

The food came considerably quickly. However I must warn you to avid this place. First: the staff was super rude when I was placing my order over the phone, nevertheless I was polite, for fear they might mess up the order on purpose having read previous reviews. When the food came, it was NOTHING like what the reviews described. We ordered 2 chicken steaks, both were soggy, and the chicken looked like someone had chewed it up and spit it out. Also it tasted like boiled, not cut into steak strips as was explained over the phone by the rude staff. I also ordered the famous waffle fries upon reading others reviews. The fries although crispy, were bitter to the taste, probably because of oil that is constantly reused. Upon seeing his sandwich, my boyfriend refused to eat it. The cheese on mine made it a bit more bearable to eat. Had I not been that hungry, I probably would throw mine away too. Bottom line, don't believe the hype AVOID

Took 2 hours to deliver, was lied to by the owner that they had tried to deliver and called multiple times both from the shop and our receptionist downstairs. Spoke to receptionist and was told they never came to deliver. To top it all off, was told that I was the one lying.

99 Miles makes incredible cheesesteaks. The greasy/bready/cheesy/meaty balance is always just right. My experience with delivery has been that they are always on time and the sandwiches arrive hot. I love the Create Your Own Sandwich method of ordering (I usually feel like double American cheese and hot and sweet peppers, though I sometimes veer a little elsewhere), and I REALLY love the Tastykake "desserts."

Late, but worth the wait. 99 Miles to Philly should update their listed wait time to reflect reality; it did take my order 45 minutes to get here. But it was perfect. Obviously the bread is from Philly, the real thing. And the fillings were steaming hot. My tongue is tingling because I couldn't wait to let it cool down. They honored my special request to have the cheese sauce for the fries on the side (or do they do that automatically for everyone?) The waffle fries weren't hot but they were good. Not greasy and still crisp. If you like cheesesteaks you should definitely try this place. If you're starving when you order, be prepared for the torture of waiting.

Order said it would take 30 minutes. Instead I get a call an hour later from someone asking me if I 'still want to have my food delivered?' Obviously, they just didn't want to deliver it. I said, yes, but then another hour later the food was, well, sub-par.

there are 2 cheesesteak places in the area as far as im concerned - 99 miles and Carl's. ive ordered from both on many occasions. i prefer 99 miles and they get my repeat business. in the 10 or so times ive ordered, they have never screwed up an order, took 2 hours, or delivered lukewarm food. in fact, they are always very fast. the cheesesteaks are the best tasting IMO and the waffle fries are tremendous.

delivery takes at least an hour. worth it if you can wait, but it will take forever.

Food is always good, but I had a similar delivery issue to Albert - It took 2 hours for my food to arrive, at which point I had already canceled my order and refused delivery. In the interim, I called three times and each time was told that the order should be there soon. The man answering the phone was short tempered and rude offering no help or solution - clearly service is not important to management here. I will try to order again again, because the food is good, but if the service is similarly bad, I will find another cheesesteak vendor.

I wish I had read the previous review. Then I probably would not be waiting for my food an hour after placing the order. I should probably start pre-heating my oven now, since I doubt the food will be even remotely warm.

While the food could/should have been good, the delivery time was horrible and resulted in cold food. The estimate was 20-35 minutes. After 60 minutes, I called the restaurant and the man on the other end was extremely rude and unprofessional. His only reply was "it'll be there in 10 minutes". After after 35 minutes, the food arrived, cold and subpar. I have eaten at the restaurant, and the food is good. However, I think it is unacceptable that the restaurant would deliver food without a reasonable estimate of time. I would have been less upset if they had said the order would have taken 80-90 minutes vs. being told 20-35. I can only recommend skipping the delivery for this restaurant.

Philly Steak, Provolone Onions and Sweet Peppers. Exactly what I needed. A little on the greasy side, but its what you would expect from a great tasting sub.

Great food, even better customer service. They forgot my order of fries, but when I called they apologized profusely and sent me chili cheese fries and a coke on the house. Will definitely order again!

The food was excellent, the delivery was fast. I had read in other reviews that there wasn't enough meat in the philly cheesesteak but definitely wasn't the case with my order. If anything, it was falling out there was so much. I added mushrooms and they were great and there were lots of them. The waffle fries were great too, especially because they were still hot and crispy. I'll definitely be ordering again.

Food was terrible, steak was greasy and somehow wet - they screwed up my order and then when I called to ask for it to be fixed, I was spoken poorly to and accused of lying. when they realized that I wasnt, they waited an hour to send the guy back with the corrected order and then the food sucked anyway. do not order from this place

I would go with Carl's instead if they deliver to you, but 99 Miles is a good #2 Cheesesteak in NYC.
